Our Two-Year Health Guarantee Promise

At Premium Boxer Puppies, the health and well-being of every puppy remain our highest priorities. Every puppy placed with a new family is covered by a two-year written health guarantee beginning on the date the buyer receives the puppy.

This guarantee protects against serious, life-altering congenital or hereditary conditions that were present from birth or inherited from the puppy’s parents and that are diagnosed within the puppy’s first two years of life.

Conditions Covered by Our Health Guarantee

Covered conditions may include:

• Congenital heart defects, including clinically significant aortic or subaortic stenosis
• Inherited cardiomyopathy or serious congenital heart abnormalities
• Severe hip dysplasia resulting from a hereditary malformation
• Severe elbow dysplasia resulting from a hereditary malformation
• Degenerative myelopathy when genetically inherited and clinically diagnosed
• Serious congenital kidney or liver abnormalities
• Congenital neurological disorders
• Hereditary thyroid disease that significantly affects the puppy’s health
• Serious congenital eye disorders resulting in substantial vision loss
• Other life-threatening congenital or hereditary defects confirmed by appropriate veterinary testing

Requirements for Guarantee Coverage

To keep the two-year guarantee valid, the buyer must have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of receiving the puppy.

The buyer must also provide:

• Routine veterinary care
• Proper nutrition
• Appropriate exercise
• Recommended vaccinations
• Regular parasite prevention

Any covered condition must be diagnosed in writing by a licensed veterinarian. For serious hereditary or congenital claims, we may request confirmation from a second independent veterinarian or an appropriate veterinary specialist.

If a qualifying condition is confirmed, the remedy described in the signed puppy agreement will apply. Depending on the circumstances and written contract, this may include a replacement puppy of comparable value from a future available litter or another agreed remedy.

What the Guarantee Does Not Cover

The health guarantee does not cover:

• Injuries, accidents, poisoning or neglect
• Illness caused by improper nutrition or inadequate care
• Contagious illness contracted after leaving our care
• Intestinal parasites, fleas, ticks or other treatable parasites
• Minor or temporary conditions that do not affect quality of life
• Allergies or environmental sensitivities
• Umbilical hernias unless medically serious
• Undescended testicles
• Cosmetic features, coat color, markings, size or adult weight
• Dental alignment or a normal Boxer underbite
• Conditions caused by excessive exercise, obesity or physical trauma
• Reproductive ability or suitability for breeding or showing
• Veterinary expenses unless specifically authorized in writing

Our guarantee is intended to provide families with confidence while also clearly defining the responsibilities of both the breeder and the buyer. It does not replace routine veterinary care, pet insurance or the buyer’s responsibility to maintain the puppy’s health.
